We were able to realise this project in Lübeck, which tells a special story of continuity: a few years after installing a spacious garden shed, the customer decided to enhance their patio with matching furniture from DESIGA. This bench with integrated folding function perfectly complements the existing ensemble in the garden. The consistent continuation of the design language and choice of materials creates a harmonious connection between the garden shed at the back of the property and the immediate living area – proof that our designs remain as relevant as ever, even after many years.
This custom-made seating board combines two functions in one minimalist body. On the terrace, it serves as a sturdy and comfortable bench, while under the flap there is a generous amount of space for weatherproof storage of cushions or garden accessories. Designed as a cushion box, it reliably protects the contents from moisture and dirt without looking like a classic chest. The precise fit into the patio design ensures that valuable space is used optimally, while the elegant HPL material guarantees a permanently new look that does not require any costly maintenance.
