The chest lid is fitted with gas springs, opens easily and can also be used as a seat. Aluminium brackets provide additional reinforcement for the lid, whilst seals on the body prevent water ingress. Ventilation grilles with integrated insect screens ensure continuous ventilation of the interior. Height-adjustable feet compensate for minor unevenness and guarantee a secure footing.
