In Ravensburg, this exclusive tool shed was built on a generously dimensioned foundation, creating a clean transition to the adjacent kitchen garden. The immediate proximity to the vegetable patch is ideal: all the necessary utensils, tools and soil have their place here and are immediately to hand when gardening. Thanks to the harmonious colour scheme and clear cubic shape, the structure blends perfectly into its green surroundings, while the extended foundation provides additional storage space in the outdoor area and ensures lasting cleanliness around the building.
A special technical highlight of this modern tool shed is the construction of the flat roof. It is sealed with a 1.5 mm thick, durable EPDM membrane and designed for a massive load capacity of 250 kg per square metre – a decisive factor for safety in the Ravensburg region, which experiences high snow loads. Thanks to a subtle, one-sided slope, rainwater is safely drained away via an internal drainage system. This eliminates the need for external gutters or downpipes, which underlines the minimalist architecture and emphasises the maintenance-free character of the entire building.
