Heat pumps and air conditioning systems have long been a feature of homes. However, manufacturers generally supply these devices without any protective casing, which exposes them not only to the weather but also to damage from outside.
To ensure the inflow and outflow of air, the front of our cladding consists entirely of slats. Recesses milled into both sides provide additional air circulation. Regular maintenance of heat pumps and air conditioning units requires unrestricted access to the device – our cover provides this.
A heat pump offers considerable potential for saving energy costs, and is also an environmentally friendly heating method with no CO2 emissions or combustion residues. No wonder, then, that this type of energy generation is so popular. The landscape has changed significantly, especially in front of new buildings and in new housing developments: where once there were simple front gardens, heat pumps now dominate the view.
For many homeowners, this sight is unsatisfactory, because a heat pump in front of the house is anything but inconspicuous. This "block" can therefore become a nuisance – especially if it detracts from the otherwise simple aesthetics of the architecture or the (front) garden. The solution here is to hide it: but bushes, trees and shrubs not only need to be maintained, they also need space. And if you don't use evergreen plants, the view of your device will only be blocked for half the year.
A cover for your heat pump hardly contributes to any loss of space in this respect and, provided you choose the right colour, can blend in with your architecture to such an extent that the feeling of a foreign object in front of your house disappears completely.
It was important to us to create a universal solution that can be used regardless of manufacturer and dimensions. That is why our cladding is only available as a custom-made product. The dimensions of the cladding are based on those of your device – these can often be found in the manual, the operating instructions or on your manufacturer's website. Otherwise, simply measure it yourself. The distances we have added (height: +15 cm, width: +20 cm, depth: 10 cm / for cladding with slats on both sides: +20 cm) are guidelines – please note that certain distances specified by the manufacturer must be observed for your appliance.
Due to the large number of devices on the market, we therefore recommend that you consult the device manufacturer regarding the positioning and dimensions of the ventilation slots. You will often find information on this in the manual or online.
Die Verkleidung ist selbsttragend aus 13 mm Trespa Meteon HPL gefertigt – ohne Unterkonstruktion und damit deutlich massiver als die marktüblichen 0,5–1,0 mm Blechhauben. Horizontale HPL-Lamellen und integrierte seitliche Lüftungsschlitze sorgen für die nötige Luftzirkulation. So schützen Sie Wärmepumpe oder Klimagerät und werten den Stellplatz optisch auf.
Bei korrekter Planung nicht relevant. Entscheidend ist, dass die vom Gerätehersteller vorgegebenen Mindestabstände und der freie Luftstrom eingehalten werden, damit kein thermischer Kurzschluss entsteht. Unsere Lamellen- und Lüftungskonstruktion ist genau darauf ausgelegt. Wir stimmen die Maße auf Ihr Gerät ab und empfehlen, die Herstellervorgaben als Sicherheitsmarge zu berücksichtigen.
Die konkreten Mindestabstände gibt der Hersteller Ihrer Wärmepumpe vor und variieren je nach Modell und Leistung. Wir planen die Verkleidung so, dass diese Abstände und ein ausreichender Luftraum vor Ansaug- und Ausblasseite gewahrt bleiben. Zwei Konfigurationen sind möglich: nur Front oder Front und Rückseite (mit ca. 20 cm mehr Tiefe).
In der Schallschutzvariante mit 50 mm Melaminharzschaum ja: Im relevanten Frequenzbereich ab ca. 500 Hz erreichen wir eine Dämpfung von etwa 10–15 dB(A) (gemessen in Anlehnung an DIN EN ISO 3741). Ehrlich gesagt: Tieffrequentes Brummen unter 200 Hz lässt sich physikalisch kaum dämmen – hier wirkt vor allem die richtige Aufstellung.
Ja. Das massive HPL (Schlagfestigkeit über 40 N) schirmt den empfindlichen Wärmetauscher vor Hagel ab – ein Hagelschaden kann sonst schnell 1.500–4.000 € kosten. Das hohe Eigengewicht von 50–100 kg (gegenüber 5–22 kg bei Blechhauben) sowie die Sichtbarriere erschweren Diebstahl und Vandalismus deutlich; optional ist eine Fundamentverankerung möglich.
Ja. Wir fertigen die Verkleidung als Maßanfertigung passend zu Ihrem Wärmepumpen- oder Klimagerät – unabhängig vom Hersteller. Teilen Sie uns einfach Modell und Maße mit, dann stimmen wir Abstände, Lüftung und Lamellen entsprechend ab.
Ja. Die Verkleidung ist so konzipiert, dass der Servicezugang jederzeit gewährleistet ist – Elemente lassen sich für Wartungsarbeiten abnehmen. So bleibt Ihr Fachbetrieb voll handlungsfähig, ohne die Verkleidung dauerhaft demontieren zu müssen.
