The ordering process – 6 steps to finding your dream property

Whether you opt for a bespoke design or choose a standard model that fits perfectly, it is a collaborative project. Our structured process ensures that your vision is brought to life exactly as you envisage it, whilst you retain full control over the planning and costs at every stage.

Step 1 – Consultation & Planning: Focusing on your ideas

We start with a personal consultation. Our aim is to find the most efficient and aesthetically pleasing solution for your property.

  • Needs analysis: Together, we discuss your requirements and the intended use – whether as traditional storage space, a soundproof pool house, a hobby workshop or a high-quality guest house.
  • Standard or customised dimensions? In the first step, we always check whether one of our tried-and-tested standard models already meets your requirements perfectly. This saves time and planning effort. However, should your on-site conditions be more specific or the space require a fit accurate to the centimetre, we seamlessly switch to customised planning. The rest of the ordering process remains just as simple for you.
  • Expert assessment: We clarify fundamental technical parameters, such as the optimal building height (our standard height is 2.45 m).
  • Preliminary legal assessment: We provide you with initial key assessments on issues such as building on the boundary or the necessary boundary setbacks, so that your project is built on a solid foundation from the outset.
Planning aspects Details
Type of use Definition of functional requirements.
Model selection Assessment: Standard model vs. bespoke design.
Measurement Checking against the conditions on the site.
General conditions Clarification of height, distances and technical feasibility.

Our promise: Whether standard dimensions or a bespoke solution – you will receive a comprehensive solution that is technically sound and blends harmoniously into your garden.

Step 2 – The quote: Full cost transparency

Based on your requirements, we will draw up a detailed and binding fixed-price quote. We avoid vague estimates and instead provide you with a clear basis for calculation.

  • Fixed-price guarantee: The quote you receive from us is binding. There are no subsequent surcharges, hidden flat rates or unexpected fees.
  • Premium components included: All selected materials – from the Trespa® Meteon® façade panels and the 1.5 mm EPDM roofing membrane to the bespoke glass elements – are already fully costed and listed transparently.

In short: the price stated in the quote is the price at which your project will be completed. Full stop.

Step 3 – Placing the order: The starting signal

The project is officially launched once you have confirmed the quote in writing. From that moment on, we turn the plans into reality.

  • Securing capacity: We begin the design process and incorporate you into our production schedule. This guarantees on-time manufacturing and the highest quality of workmanship.
  • Technical preparation: Our team begins the technical preparation of your project. Every component is prepared for production to ensure that everything fits together perfectly on site later on.
  • Deposit: Once the order has been placed, you will receive an invoice for a deposit of 30% of the order value. This secures your place in the production schedule.
Milestone Status
Order confirmation Binding project start.
Payment stage 30% deposit to activate the planning process.

Good to know: By manufacturing in our own German workshop, we retain full control over the quality and delivery times of your unique piece.

Step 4 – The approval drawing

Before production begins at our workshop, we will send you the crucial inspection document: a precise, true-to-scale approval drawing.

  • The precision check: In this detailed drawing, you can check all dimensions and specifications again at your leisure. You verify the exact door position, the alignment of skylights and the placement of all optional extras.
  • Your production guarantee: Only once you have returned this document to us signed (the so-called ‘approval’) will custom production commence. This step ensures that the house is produced and delivered exactly as you envisaged it.
  • Maximum control: A strict rule applies: production will not commence until we have received written approval from you. This eliminates any misunderstandings and gives you absolute certainty that every detail meets your specifications.
Checkpoint Details of the approval
Dimensional accuracy Do the width, depth and height correspond to the plans?
Positioning Are doors, glass elements and recesses correctly positioned?
Special requests Have all custom modules (e.g. timber storage) been incorporated?
Connections Do the outlets of the empty conduits match the foundations?

Important note: The approval designation is the final reference document for our production. Please allow sufficient time for this check – it is the guarantee of a perfect result.

Step 5 – Bespoke production: Craftsmanship quality ‘Made in Germany’

Once you have given your final approval, the physical production process begins. At our German workshop, we do not produce anonymous mass-produced items, but your very own unique piece.

To guarantee the durability and modern look of your home, we rely on state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies:

  • CNC machining: The Trespa® HPL façade panels are machined on precision CNC machines. This guarantees precise cuts, perfectly clean edges and exact drill holes, which are essential for subsequent installation.
  • Solid timber frame: The load-bearing framework consists of high-quality, kiln-dried softwood of grade NH C24. This solid structural timber is cut to exact dimensions and prepared in such a way as to ensure the structural stability of your home for decades to come.

Order-specific component procurement

For us, quality means precision. That is why all supplementary materials are sourced individually for your project:

  • Special glazing: Every ESG safety glass element is manufactured exactly to your specifications.
  • Roofing system & accessories: The EPDM roofing membrane and all sealing components are also ordered and fabricated to order. This ensures that all materials meet the latest quality standards.
Component Material / Process Your benefit
Facade CNC-milled HPL Precision fit to the millimetre & clean joints.
Support structure Softwood NH C24 Maximum stability and resistance to warping.

Quality note: As our products are manufactured in Germany, we have full control over every single stage of production. Before the components leave our factory, they undergo rigorous quality control to ensure that everything fits together perfectly during on-site assembly.

Step 6 – Delivery & Assembly: Your Full-Service Experience

As soon as your garden shed has passed the final quality control check at our factory, we will coordinate a suitable delivery date with you. You decide for yourself how involved you would like to be in the assembly process.

You can choose between two options:

  • Option A: Kerbside delivery (for DIY professionals)
We deliver the securely packed and pre-assembled components directly to your address. Video support: To ensure the assembly goes smoothly, you’ll receive access to our detailed, two-hour assembly video. In this step-by-step guide, we walk you through the entire process – from the first threshold to the finished roof.
  • Option B: Full-service installation (the all-inclusive package)
Our own experienced specialist team will take care of the entire installation for you.
Precision on site: We guarantee a clean, quick and professional installation directly onto your prepared foundation.
Time-saving: Whilst our team takes care of the heavy lifting, you can sit back, relax and watch your project take shape.
