In this project, a four-bin unit for 240-litre bins in black carries a lockable letterbox flush-integrated into its front. Instead of a row of bins plus a freestanding letterbox stand, a single, straight-lined body takes over both roles – calm, ordered and set with such precision that it noticeably lifts the first impression of the house. Visitors, neighbours and delivery drivers all read the entrance in seconds; a unit like this makes sure what they read is order.

Four 240-litre bins behind separate doors

Behind the black front there is room for four large 240-litre wheelie bins – enough for general waste, paper, organics and recycling even in larger households. Each bin stands behind its own door and comes out individually: on collection day you roll out exactly the bin that is being emptied, without moving its neighbours. If your forecourt calls for less, the same solution can be planned as a two- or three-bin version – and for 120-litre bins as well. The proportions of the front stay balanced in every configuration, because doors, joints and letterbox are designed together rather than assembled from parts.

Lockable, flush, convenient: the integrated letterbox

The letterbox is lockable and built directly into the unit. That shortens the route for the postal carrier: letters are dropped at the property boundary, with no detour to the front door – a courtesy to both sides, especially on open or generously laid-out entrance areas. And because the letterbox is part of the front rather than screwed onto it, there are no add-on boxes and no extra posts: one continuous surface with clean joint lines, in which every function has its place. The result looks less like bin storage with an accessory and more like a small piece of built infrastructure for the entrance. HPL by Trespa: weatherproof and carefree

The unit is built from HPL (high-pressure laminate) by Trespa, proven in permanent outdoor use. The material is weatherproof, UV-stable and frost-proof: the black surface does not fade in the sun, and rain washes dirt away. Painting, sealing or touching up is permanently unnecessary – the calculated service life is around 50 years. With an impact resistance of over 40 newtons, the unit also takes the everyday life of a busy driveway in its stride: the knock of a bin as much as a hailstorm.
