In this project, the garden shed is specifically used as a pool equipment room. Instead of housing the filter, pump and control system in a cramped shaft or an open corner, the entire system is housed safely inside the shed. There, the pool equipment can be neatly mounted on the walls and floor, with pipes clearly routed and easily accessible for maintenance or servicing.
From the outside, the pool equipment shed appears as a minimalist, clean-lined structure in the garden. In everyday use, there are no exposed pipes, cables or equipment – the pool area remains visually uncluttered, whilst the pool equipment operates reliably in the background.
The walls are constructed from HPL, a material developed for long-term outdoor use. The enclosed surfaces protect the equipment from the elements whilst ensuring that noise is dampened and kept inside. The surface is UV-resistant, colour-fast and easy to maintain – once installed, the pool equipment house remains in good condition for the long term without the need for regular painting or touch-ups.
The result is a solution that neatly separates technology from design: the pool remains the focal point, whilst the pool equipment house serves as a closed, easily accessible technical room in the garden.
No impregnating, sanding or painting - never again thanks to HPL!
