In this garden of a mid-terrace house, space was clearly limited from the outset. The small tool shed makes the most of the narrow space at the edge of the plot and provides storage for garden tools, folding chairs and cushions without reducing the usable garden area. The smooth-running sliding door is easy to operate even in tight spaces – ideal when the patio, flowerbed and path are close together.
At the same time, the small tool shed serves a second purpose: it screens the garden from the street, thereby creating more privacy in everyday life. The dark glass and anthracite-coloured HPL cladding echo the modern look of the house and appear significantly more upmarket than a classic wooden shed or a simple privacy fence. The result is a small tool shed that combines storage space and privacy screening in a compact, clean-lined structure.
