This weatherproof patio cupboard in Stuttgart-Killesberg puts an end to that ritual. Designed specifically as a storage unit for seat cushions, it houses the cushions right on the terrace: dry, protected and ready to hand in seconds when guests arrive or the sun comes out.
If you fold and stuff cushions, it soon shows. That’s why this cupboard is generously sized: even large sets of cushions fit easily without losing their shape – laid flat or standing upright, depending on their size. High-back cushions, lounge cushions, tablecloths and decorative items are stowed away behind the understated front, and the patio looks tidy in a minute every evening.
The smooth top of the cabinet serves a second purpose – as a valuable display area for decorations, plant pots or refreshments during a barbecue evening. This transforms the storage unit into a fully-fledged piece of patio furniture, significantly enhancing the utility of the piece. The patio cupboard is made from HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) by Trespa – UV-resistant, rainproof and frost-proof. The surface does not fade in the sun; dirt is washed away by the rain; it never needs painting or waterproofing; it has an estimated lifespan of around 50 years. The cushions remain dry inside – even after a summer thunderstorm, the cushion covers are ready for use.
