The result: from the sauna bench and from the lounger alike, you enjoy an unbroken view into the Mediterranean garden – at dusk an experience that is genuinely hard to put into words. Heat, rest and view are choreographed as one sequence rather than three separate rooms: sweat, step through the glass door, lie back – and keep the garden in sight the whole time.

HPL: made for sun, salt and temperature swings

The outer shell of HPL (high-pressure laminate) by Trespa is engineered for permanent exposure to the weather – and on Mallorca that means, above all, intense UV radiation. The surface does not fade, stays dimensionally stable and colour-fast, and needs no paint or care of any kind; the material is designed for a service life of around 50 years. While the Finnish heat works away inside, the shell holds its own outside – year after year, without maintenance, however hard the midday sun pushes down on the south side of the island.
