This project in Ulm involved the implementation of a customised solution that makes perfect use of the narrow space between the house wall and the fence. The special feature of this garden cube is that it is equipped with two sliding doors opposite each other. This configuration enables a convenient passage principle: garden tools or bicycles can be pushed in from one side and removed from the other side as needed. This means that access to the rear of the garden remains barrier-free and unobstructed, while the entire interior space can be used as a tidy storage area. The precise fit ensures that no valuable square metre is left unused.
In addition to its functional architecture, this modern room module impresses with its details. The large sliding doors are equipped with high-quality stainless steel handles, which not only feel great to the touch, but also underline the minimalist look of the weatherproof material. A key comfort feature is the uniform locking system: a single key is sufficient to securely lock both entrances. This greatly simplifies daily handling and at the same time guarantees a high level of security for the equipment stored inside. Thanks to the robust HPL façade, the building remains permanently maintenance-free and retains its precise shape and colour stability for decades.
