This project shows how modern surfaces can enhance an outdoor area. This HPL equipment cabinet for the terrace impresses with its unusual exposed aggregate concrete look. This surface appears solid and high-quality, but thanks to the HPL (high-pressure laminate) material, it is much easier to maintain and more durable than real concrete. The design blends harmoniously into the contemporary terrace design and makes the tall cabinet a real eye-catcher.
The functional heart of this cabinet is the customised solution in the floor area. To maximise everyday convenience, the floor has been recessed to create level access. This makes it possible to simply roll a barbecue or other wheeled utensils inside without having to lift them. This "barbecue garage" saves energy and protects the terrace flooring.
In addition to the barbecue, the HPL equipment cabinet for the terrace offers enormous space for all kinds of everyday items thanks to its XL dimensions. Whether garden tools, gas bottles or cleaning utensils – everything has its place and is safely protected from the weather. Thanks to the robust nature of the HPL panels, the cabinet remains permanently UV-resistant and completely maintenance-free, so there is no need for repainting or sanding.
