Two things are essential for designing living spaces: planning skills and creativity. When combined, they can create something wonderful, including practical storage space. After exploring various extension options, our garden shed was considered as a possibility for this project – and, upon comparing the expected costs with those of a solid-construction building, the decision was quickly made in favour of our solution. The garden shed, which we manufactured to the exact dimensions requested, was thus designed as a building extension and constructed as an annex. An opening in the interior provides access to this storage space, making it accessible without getting your feet wet in any season and in all weather conditions. The storage of firewood, brooms, buckets, shovels, watering cans and garden tools rounds off the versatility of the outdoor area. The choice of a bronze-rust finish echoes the stone flooring and, in terms of colour, bridges the gap between the exterior colours of grey-brown and anthracite, both of which feature on the property.
