The extended roof overhang with a side wall creates a weather-protected area that can be used flexibly: as a carport for the car, as a dry storage space for bicycles and bin bags, or as a covered work area in front of the garden shed. The side wall also provides additional protection against driving rain and prying eyes. And the garden shed itself provides lockable storage space – tools, tyres and accessories can be stored just a few steps away from the parking area.

HPL from Trespa: one cladding solution for everything

The garden shed, canopy and side wall all feature the same façade made from HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) by Trespa – UV-resistant, frost-proof and rainproof. The surface does not fade; dirt is washed away by the rain, and there is no need for painting or waterproofing; it is designed to last around 50 years. The load-bearing structure, made from C24 solid structural timber, is statically calculated in accordance with Eurocode 5 – particularly important for large roof areas with overhangs.
