Most bin storage tries to disappear. This green bin store does the opposite – and gets away with it beautifully. The strong green sets a deliberate accent at the entrance, chosen to work with garden and planting rather than hiding behind neutral tones. What is usually a purely functional structure becomes a piece of design that shapes the front garden and shows just how far the palette reaches beyond grey and anthracite. It is a small decision with a surprisingly large effect: the first thing guests pass is no longer a row of plastic bins but a composed, colourful piece of the garden.
Colour works when it has a context, and green has the most natural one imaginable: the garden itself. Set against hedges, lawn and perennials, the unit picks up the surrounding tones instead of interrupting them – the rare case of bin storage that connects the built entrance with the planted garden rather than separating the two. The stronger the greenery around it, the more self-evident the choice appears. In spring the unit sits among fresh shoots, in summer it holds its own beside deep foliage, and in winter it keeps a trace of colour at the entrance when the garden itself has little to offer.
Green is not just green, either: from light lime through rich moss to deep fir green, the palette of over 250 HPL colours and décors holds numerous green tones that stay stable outdoors for the long term. We post free HPL colour samples to your home, so the decision is made next to your own render, paving and planting rather than on a screen.
Next to the bin compartments, this project includes a separate parcel compartment with an integrated letterbox – a practical addition for everyone who is out during the day, because deliveries land sheltered instead of on the doorstep. The post is dropped at the boundary, protected from rain and passers-by, and collected whenever it suits you. How far the idea of a complete receiving station can be taken is shown in detail by our reference of a four-bin unit with letterbox and parcel box.
Hardly any piece of outdoor furniture works harder than bin storage: daily use, weather from all sides, knocks from bins and lids. The HPL boards by Trespa are impact-resistant, scratch-resistant and frost-proof – designed for decades of exactly this. The lids and doors run on robust fittings, and ventilation underneath keeps everything inside dry. The through-coloured, UV-resistant surface neither bleaches nor dulls, and rain simply washes dust and pollen away. The result is a unit that keeps its bright colour and its precise movement long after cheaper solutions have started to look tired – with no repainting and no seasonal upkeep on your side.
Single, double, triple or quadruple, for 120-litre or 240-litre bins: every size of our modern bin store is planned to match your bin count and your spot, so the proportions stay right whether it houses one bin or four. The green shown here is one answer; the same build in your own colour and configuration is another – the construction stays identical, the character is yours to choose.
Every unit is developed in-house and manufactured in Bavaria. Depending on the size and your preference, it is delivered to you fully assembled by specialist carrier or brought and installed on site by our own team.
