13 mm Trespa HPL: maximum protection against hail and severe weather

For maximum protection against hail and severe weather, this cover uses 13 mm-thick Trespa HPL – significantly more robust than standard cladding sheets. Hailstones, branches and driving rain strike the thick HPL panel rather than the unit’s delicate fins. The material is also UV-resistant and frost-proof: the anthracite colour does not fade, dirt is washed away by the rain, and it never needs painting – it is designed to last for around 50 years.

90 kg dead weight: stable without additional fixing

The enclosure is designed so that, with its own weight of around 90 kg, it stands sturdily and generally requires no additional fixing. No dowels in the decking, no foundation anchors: the cover is put in place and stays where it is – even in strong winds. This means minimal effort during installation and maximum reliability in everyday use.

Easy to maintain: accessible from all sides

Protection must not hinder servicing. This enclosure provides access to the unit from all sides for maintenance, without the need for cumbersome dismantling or realignment. This saves time during service visits – and ensures that the enclosure can remain in place without compromise in day-to-day use, rather than having to be dismantled for every minor issue. Airflow has been factored into the design from the outset: slats and precisely calculated internal clearances keep the heat pump’s airways clear.
