This reference shows that modern architecture and functional storage space can complement each other perfectly. The equipment shed with a flat roof was deliberately placed discreetly in the background so as not to dominate the overall appearance of the terrace. A particularly smart solution was implemented during installation: the remaining gap between the residential building and the garden shed was closed with a custom-fit HPL panel. This creates a visual unity that looks as if it were cast from a single mould and at the same time prevents dirt or leaves from accumulating in the gaps.
The design quality of this project is evident in the subtle coordination of all elements. The colour of the tool shed was precisely matched to the façade colour of the house, creating a calm and elegant look. The discreet light strips made of ESG glazing (single-pane safety glass) add modern accents and allow natural daylight into the interior. Particularly noteworthy is the successful combination with the striking plant troughs made of Corten steel – the contrast between the smooth HPL surface and the rustic rust look creates a contemporary, high-quality atmosphere.
