This project impressively demonstrates how a spacious roof terrace can be transformed into an outdoor living area with a coordinated ensemble of different modules. A total of six units perform specific tasks: a threshold-free barbecue cabinet allows a mobile barbecue to be conveniently parked, while a separate gas bottle cabinet ensures the necessary safety and tidiness. The integrated seating boards are particularly flexible: thanks to castors and gas pressure dampers, they not only serve as practical storage space for textiles, but can also be placed wherever they are needed at any time as mobile seating.
The design strength of this solution lies in the harmonious combination of decors. While the functional elements such as the barbecue cabinet and seating boards are finished in striking "Patina Rock", two custom-made tall cabinets in cool white add an elegant accent and make ideal use of the vertical space on the terrace. This dual colour concept gives the entire system a modern look. The use of weatherproof HPL also guarantees that the entire installation remains dimensionally stable and colourfast even in its exposed location on the roof terrace, reducing maintenance to a minimum.
