This pool equipment room is located in Oberhausen (North Rhine-Westphalia) directly next to the pool and houses all the pool equipment within its own enclosed structure. Inside, the equipment is installed in such a way that the pool builder has sufficient space for the filter system, pipework and control system – easily accessible, clearly laid out and with room for future modifications.
To the left of the pool equipment room, a foundation for the heat pump has already been prepared. The heat pump will thus be located directly next to the equipment centre, whilst remaining visually distinct from the pool area. Pipe runs remain short, and service and maintenance work can be carried out easily without disrupting the pool area itself.
The HPL construction ensures that the pool equipment room is permanently weather-resistant, dimensionally stable and easy to maintain – a crucial factor when pumps, filters and controls are to be safely housed all year round. The right-hand wall was subsequently clad with HPL as well, creating a seamless appearance and ensuring the pool equipment room blends neatly into the site layout.
The result is a technically sound and visually tidy solution: the pool equipment house houses all the pool equipment, the prepared location for the heat pump is right next to it – and the pool area remains free of visible equipment, cables or makeshift solutions.
