This project involved creating an XXL storage solution on existing foundations: the large garden shed with double sliding doors makes full use of the space, which is approximately 6.37 m wide and 4.34 m deep. The double sliding door opens in opposite directions, opening up almost the entire width of the front – this makes it easy to store and retrieve large and bulky items such as rollable sun loungers, a table tennis table or a ride-on lawn mower without having to manoeuvre them.
To the left behind the garden shed, there is also a collection tank for rainwater that falls on the large roof area. Storage space and rainwater utilisation are thus combined in a clear structure without any further technical elements being visible in the garden.
Inside, the large garden shed with double sliding doors offers enough space to create different zones – from storage space for garden tools and ride-on mowers to an area for garden furniture or sports equipment. The recessed ESG panes allow daylight to enter the interior, so that the garden shed can also be used as a workshop and DIY area. There is plenty of space for a workbench with tools, and repairs and DIY jobs can be carried out in the dry, regardless of the weather.
This turns the large garden shed with double sliding doors into more than just a storage room: it is a fully-fledged XXL storage solution on existing foundations that intelligently combines use, organisation and work space.
