This project involved creating an XXL storage solution on an existing foundation: the large garden shed with double sliding doors makes full use of the space, which measures approximately 6.37 m in width and 4.34 m in depth. The double sliding doors, which open in opposite directions, open up the front almost across the entire width – making it easy to store and retrieve even large and bulky items such as wheeled sun loungers, a table tennis table or a ride-on lawnmower without having to manoeuvre.
To the left behind the garden shed, there is also a collection tank where rainwater running off the large roof surface is collected. Storage space and rainwater harvesting are thus combined in a single, clean-lined structure, without any additional technical elements being visible in the garden.
Inside, the large garden shed with double sliding doors offers enough space to create different zones – from storage for garden tools and ride-on mowers to an area for garden furniture or sports equipment. The recessed toughened glass panels let daylight into the interior, meaning the garden shed can also be used as a workshop and DIY area. There is easily enough space for a workbench with tools, and repairs and DIY projects can be carried out indoors, sheltered from the weather.
This turns the large garden shed with double sliding doors into more than just a storage room: it is a fully-fledged XXL storage solution on existing foundations, intelligently combining functionality, organisation and workspace.
