The material is UV-resistant, frost-proof and rainproof – calculated for a service life of around 50 years. And while metal bleaches in the sun or collects dents, the HPL façade keeps its precise, cubic appearance – with over 40 newtons of impact resistance, even when a log knocks against the wall during stacking.

Room for more than firewood

Individual planning takes in every intended use: given sufficient size, bicycles, a scooter or the large barbecue find their place next to the garden tools. Inside, the building stays what it should be – organised, lockable storage; outside, one calm structure orders the garden instead of two competing objects. The clean-lined form takes up the geometry of a modern home and continues it into the green.
