Here, a modern garden shed was used as a fence extension – perfectly tailored to the situation on site and deliberately kept simple. The extra-wide sliding door with an opening width of 1.40 m makes everyday access much easier, especially for bulky equipment or garden furniture. The integrated ESG glazing brings daylight into the interior without making the front look cluttered. The overall result is a clean finish along the property line: functional as storage space and at the same time as a privacy screen – and visually calm enough to blend in harmoniously with the large, cantilevered carport roof.
The added value is not only created inside, but above all in front of it: when garden sheds and privacy screens sensibly extend the fence line, the area in front of it remains more generously usable. It is precisely this open space that is worth its weight in gold in practice – briefly storing something, rearranging, fetching tools, moving rubbish bins or bicycles without it becoming cramped. The clear lines give the solution a tidy and "seamless" appearance, rather than looking like an afterthought. The project thus combines storage space, privacy screens and everyday practicality in a modern, unobtrusive overall effect.
