Our modern garden sheds do not require cladding on the spruce wood substructure. The use of sealing tape and external façade cladding prevents moisture from entering the interior of the garden shed. For this reason, it is not necessary to treat the wood with additional moisture protection or to apply a protective glaze. The untreated wood remains completely breathable. It can absorb moisture when the humidity in the garden shed is high and then slowly release it back into the environment. This natural process reduces the formation of condensation, especially in the transitional seasons of spring and autumn, which contributes significantly to an improved indoor climate.
Another advantage of the open design is the easy attachment of furnishing elements. As the substructure is freely accessible, shelves, broom holders or bicycle lifts can be screwed on directly and easily. Technical installations such as surface-mounted cables and sockets can also be installed anywhere in the interior, exactly where they are needed in everyday life.
