This custom-made storage bench shows that storage space on the terrace can also be an aesthetic invitation to linger. The piece of furniture was designed to perfectly combine two functions: it serves as a generous storage space for seat cushions and everyday items, while also functioning as a sturdy seat. The interior is divided into two sections, ensuring a structured organisation so that even smaller items are always within reach. Thanks to the comfortable seat height, it creates additional space for relaxation that blends seamlessly into the modern terrace design and functionally enhances the outdoor living room.
Choosing the right material is crucial, especially in unprotected outdoor areas. The use of high-quality HPL guarantees that the storage box will remain dimensionally stable and colourfast for years to come – without any maintenance. The smooth, cool surface of the material not only looks modern, but is also extremely resistant to moisture and UV radiation. After a rain shower, a quick wipe is all it takes to make the seat board ready for use again. This combination of purist design and extreme durability makes the chest an indispensable companion for anyone who values quality and a tidy outdoor atmosphere.
