As contradictory as it may sound: you don’t need wood to create a wood-effect. That’s because our weather-resistant HPL finishes effortlessly bridge the gap between a rustic, wood-effect appearance and weather-resistant properties. How does it work? By using high-resolution designs that can mimic every grain and surface, from rust and cement right through to wood. And so deceptively real that even we sometimes have to look twice. Imitating wood, in particular, has one crucial advantage: the absence of the maintenance requirements that real wood regularly entails. Sanding, priming, varnishing, impregnating – and, if necessary, clearing snow so that the wood doesn’t end up looking a bit too modern in winter. Our durable, rainproof and UV-resistant HPL surface, on the other hand, is free from all these problems. It requires neither painting nor maintenance. It can therefore be left outdoors all year round without any issues – regardless of the chosen finish.
