In Worms, a storage solution was implemented that shows how existing niches in the house can be used optimally. An XXL garden cabinet with wood storage was fitted into the narrow space between the house wall and the property wall. The design was planned in such a way that even the permanently installed roof ladder was integrated flush into the overall picture. This customised construction means that no valuable space is wasted and creates a calm, orderly appearance along the house façade. The combination of a closed cabinet element and an open storage area offers plenty of storage space for garden utensils and, at the same time, a practical solution for storing firewood.
The design of this solution focuses on a deliberate contrast between the surfaces. While the closed body of the cabinet is kept in a neutral white and impresses with its clear, minimalist lines, the stored firewood brings a natural warmth to the ensemble. This mix of materials between the smooth, weather-resistant HPL and the wood creates an attractive look that goes beyond purely functional use. The XXL garden cabinet with wood storage thus becomes a design element that blends unobtrusively into its surroundings and remains dimensionally stable over time thanks to its high-quality workmanship, without requiring a great deal of maintenance for the surfaces.
