Some saunas stand next to the garden; this one stands right inside it, where the planting is at its densest. Surrounded by trees and beds, the compact sauna cube shows the sauna in its most beautiful setting – with generous glazing that opens an incomparable view into the natural surroundings and creates an atmosphere no basement sauna can imitate. The clear, cubic building holds itself back quite deliberately; the garden itself does the decorating. Sauna bathing is simply at its best in the middle of your own green – a few steps across the lawn, and the day is somewhere else entirely.

Bio steam sauna and Finnish sauna in one

The heart of the building is its flexible heater technology: the sauna can be run as a bio steam sauna or as a classic Finnish sauna. One day the gentle steam climate with lower temperature and high humidity, the next the traditional Finnish session in dry heat – depending on mood and preference. That keeps the sauna attractive for everyone in the household, including those for whom 90 degrees is simply too much. One building, two sauna cultures, and no compromise for either of them – the technology adapts to the day, not the other way round. It is a flexibility many of our sauna models share.

The glazing: sweating with a view into the green

The generous glazing is what separates a mere cabin from an experience worth looking forward to all day. Instead of looking at timber walls, you look into the garden – lush green in summer, snow-covered branches in winter, while the steam rises inside. It is exactly this contrast that makes the sauna in the garden so superior to the basement sauna: the weather becomes part of the session instead of something you went indoors to escape. A rain shower on the glass, low winter light through bare branches – the garden delivers scenery that no tiled cellar wall ever will.

Installed even in frost and snow

How dependably the build goes is best described by the Pahl family from Neubrandenburg, whose sauna was assembled in genuinely wintry conditions: they write that they were thoroughly satisfied with the two fitters, whose work in frost and snow took on almost heroic qualities, and they praise the consistently friendly contact and the immediate response to every question and request. Installation is carried out by our own team – in any weather, at any time of year. A sauna is a building for the cold months; its assembly may happen in them too, so that the first snowfall finds you on the bench rather than waiting for spring.

HPL by Trespa: a weatherproof shell for the whole year

The outer shell of HPL (high-pressure laminate) by Trespa is designed for permanent outdoor use: UV-resistant, frost-proof and impervious to rain. Between steam and heat on the inside and winter frost on the outside, the construction stays dimensionally stable – without painting or impregnating, ever; the material is designed for a service life of around 50 years. The cube you set into the garden this year will still stand there, calm and precise, decades from now.

Which shade that cube wears is up to you: over 250 HPL colours and décors are available for the outer shell, and free colour samples are sent to your home in advance – so the tone can be judged right against the greens it will live among.
