This tall cabinet in the colour ‘Toscana’ stands on the roof terrace of the Allegra Hotel in Kloten (CH) and, as a three-door bespoke piece, is designed not only for its appearance but above all for its functionality. The additional central partition creates three separate compartments, allowing cushions and terrace accessories to be neatly organised rather than left piled up ‘somewhere’. This is particularly important in a hotel setting: quick access in the morning, swiftly stowed away in the evening – and the roof terrace still looks tidy and high-quality. The warm ‘Toscana’ finish complements the wooden terrace perfectly and brings a calm, sophisticated tone to the space.
On request, additional ventilation slots were integrated into the rear to achieve significantly better air circulation in two compartments. This is particularly useful if cushions are not stored away completely ‘bone-dry’ after use or following a change in weather. More air means less trapped heat and less moisture inside – a practical detail that makes all the difference. Overall, this is a solution that helps hotels visibly enhance their outdoor areas without compromising on practicality: plenty of storage space, a clear structure and details that really work in practice.
