When planning this property, the focus was on making optimum use of the interior space. The sliding door was deliberately positioned 50 cm away from the side wall. This seemingly small design trick creates the necessary space inside to install continuous wall shelves without blocking the walkway or the door's opening mechanism. In combination with the discreet glazing, this creates a bright, functional garden room that offers an impressive amount of organised storage space despite its compact external dimensions.
Behind the purist façade lies a construction designed to withstand the highest loads. With an impressive roof load of 250 kg per square metre, the flat roof offers much more than just protection from the rain. The high-quality waterproofing with a durable EPDM membrane creates the perfect basis for various usage scenarios. Whether as an ecologically valuable green roof that improves the microclimate, as a location for a modern solar system for self-sufficient power supply, or quite classically with a gravel covering – the solid construction leaves all options open and makes the building a future-proof investment.
