In this project in Mainz, the sideboard was positioned in close proximity to two barbecues. This arrangement creates an efficient outdoor working environment: barbecue utensils, covers and other accessories are right there where they are needed. This reduces the number of trips into the house and ensures that the patio remains tidy. Thanks to its solid height, the top of the unit also provides a welcome additional storage surface for serving or preparing food, which significantly increases the comfort of cooking outdoors.
The visual appeal of this solution is particularly evident when compared directly with storage boxes made of rattan or plastic wicker. While conventional wicker boxes often appear unstable and weather after a few seasons, this sideboard impresses with its rich look and precise lines. The detailed photos illustrate the high-quality feel and clean finish of the surfaces, which blend harmoniously into the sophisticated terrace design.
