This design in elegant French Walnut proves that functional storage and a warm, natural look need not be mutually exclusive. The modern bicycle shed serves as a stylish focal point in the driveway, combining the cosy feel of a wood look with the extreme durability of HPL. Instead of various individual boxes, the result is a calm, architectural overall picture that enhances the first impression of the house and at the same time guarantees absolute maintenance-free use – painting is finally a thing of the past here.
This project is a prime example of maximum efficiency, as it goes far beyond simply storing bicycles. The well-designed cube not only provides a safe place for bicycles, but also discreetly hides the rubbish bins behind its elegant façade. A special highlight is the integration of the letterbox directly into the housing, eliminating the need for additional fixtures in the driveway. Complemented by a spacious wood storage area directly adjacent, this solution offers everything you need for perfectly organised logistics around the house. It would be difficult to achieve more utility value in a driveway.

We renovated our terraced house and, as is often the case, the front garden was left until last. We wanted everything to be modern and low-maintenance. I happened to come across Mr Hart's modern garden sheds online – garden sheds that never need painting! What's more, the company's headquarters are only a few kilometres away from us. An appointment was quickly arranged, and Mr Hart gave us lots of great design tips for the front garden, so that thanks to Mr Hart, we even decided on a lime green front door. The garden shed was supposed to be grey, but here too, Mr Hart convinced us to go for a fantastic French walnut wood finish. It fits perfectly with our renovated 1950s terraced house and the surroundings! What can I say... I am so happy with this beautiful, warm wood colour in our front garden. We will never have to paint this garden shed, and the wood storage area with real glazing is always a joy to look at from the kitchen window. The garden shed is a masterful piece of carpentry, and the large double doors are just right for our bicycle fleet.
