A direct before-and-after comparison in this project illustrates how a prepared open space can be transformed into a modern storage area through targeted planning. Where previously only the empty foundations were visible, a custom-made HPL tool shed now occupies the space and creates a clear visual structure. The cubic architecture makes perfect use of the space and offers functional storage space that stands out from conventional solutions thanks to its flush design and subtle lines.
The decision to use anthracite as the colour proved to be the ideal design bridge to the existing surroundings. The dark shade harmonises perfectly with the adjacent stone elements and precisely matches the nuances of the window frames and blinds of the residential building. Thanks to this harmonious colour choice, the new building appears to be an integral part of the overall ensemble, emphasising the modernity of the outdoor area.
