This reference clearly illustrates the difference between traditional construction methods and modern material technology. While the neighbouring property features a classic wooden shelter that has been visibly marked by weathering over the years, the new, purist building provides a clear architectural counterpoint. This direct contrast shows the observer how materials develop in outdoor areas: while wood requires regular maintenance and painting to prevent weathering, the maintenance-free HPL surface impresses with its lasting colour fastness and dimensional stability. It is a living example of how a contemporary choice of materials minimises maintenance and keeps the appearance at the highest level for a long time.
In exclusive residential areas in particular, the long-term effect of outdoor facilities is crucial for maintaining the value of the property. With its precise edges and smooth, anthracite-coloured surface, the new building blends harmoniously into its surroundings and exudes a calmness that the neighbouring, ageing wooden building lacks. The monolithic appearance without glass surfaces emphasises the functional character without appearing massive. It impressively demonstrates that modern storage solutions not only create order, but also have a lasting impact on the character of the entire property thanks to their high-quality appearance, clearly setting them apart from conventional solutions.
