This 3×3 metre tool shed is located near Arcachon on the French Atlantic coast. It provides classic storage space for garden tools, cushions and pool accessories – right where you need it, without dominating the garden unnecessarily. The compact floor space is clearly structured and usable, whether for seasonal items or anything that should not be left on the terrace permanently.
Despite its exposed location near the sea, the appearance remains calm: the shed stands unobtrusively in the background and organises the garden and outdoor area without pushing itself into the foreground.
Salt air, wind and many hours of sunshine play a major role, especially on the Atlantic coast. The tool shed is made of HPL and is therefore designed for precisely these conditions: the surface is weather-resistant, dimensionally stable and does not need to be painted. Sea air and sun have little effect during normal use, and the white appearance is retained.
The light colour also has a practical advantage for the indoor climate: compared to a dark tool shed, the room heats up less. This makes it more pleasant to use in summer and at the same time protects what is stored inside. This design combines robust weather protection with practical, everyday use right on the Atlantic coast.
