Maintenance-free properties are particularly important for large façade areas: the outer cladding made from HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) by Trespa is UV-resistant, frost-proof and rainproof – the anthracite colour does not fade, dirt is washed away by the rain, and there’s never any need to paint it. Anyone who has ever painted a large wooden garden shed knows what that entails over the years; the expected lifespan is around 50 years. The load-bearing substructure, made from C24 solid structural timber, is structurally calculated in accordance with Eurocode 5 – for XXL formats with their large spans, this is not a mere detail but a prerequisite.
